Mesa Arch

Mesa Arch

When looking through Mesa Arch, spectacular views of Utah's canyonlands appear below. Perched high above White Rim Canyon Road, this enchanting sunrise view is considered unequaled by some. The popular arch, found in Canyonlands National Park, is about an hours drive from Moab. The national park is divided into three units. Mesa Arch lies in Island of the Sky District. This island is positioned between the Green and Colorado rivers. Breathtaking views are presented at the Green River and Grand View Point overlooks.
Mesa Arch is an easy half mile hike. It would be a rare occurrence to witness the sunrise here by yourself, but the only sounds heard from a reverent crowd would be whispers, oohs and ahhs. There are more arches in Canyonlands, but make sure this one is included on your must see list.
