Tlaquepaque Chapel

Tlaquepaque Chapel

The church at Sedona's Tlaquepaque Village could be easily mistaken for an old world Spanish chapel. This wonderful re-creation is the perfect place for a cozy wedding ceremony.
The Tlaquepaque name was taken from the municipality in the Mexican state of Jalisco, meaning place above clay land. The Mexican town square is also known for it street vendors and craft displays.
Here in Sedona, the arts and crafts work are something to see, along with the town's charming architecture. The Spanish style is brought out, even in the smallest detail. The 45 year old arts and crafts village reflects the dream of Abe Miller, seeing a relaxing, cool oasis in the heart of Arizona's desert sun.
