Blue Mountain Lake

Blue Mountain Lake

Blue Mountain Lake, lying at the base of Blue Mountain Peak, is thought to be one of the most beautiful bodies of water out of the 2,800 Adirondack lakes. The New York lakeside scenery has inspired artists and writers for more than a hundred years.
Blue Mountain's Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts houses an extensive collection of acclaimed traditional and contemporary art work. Some of America's favorites, Fredrick Remington, Winslow Homer and Thomas Cole, have delighted art lovers and Adirondack visitors since 1967. Children and adults have an opportunity to attend workshops here, learning crafts, including pottery, jewelry and print making.
