One of the first attractions visitor's see as they enter the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is an array of historic rockets. Vintage Redstone, Titan and Atlas rockets poke their noses high into the Florida sky, rockets that launched the first astronauts into space. New dramatic lighting shows off the rocket fuselages and a patriotic lighting scheme enhances the Rocket Garden.
The complex also features two giant IMAX theater screens. The five story picture is enlivened with a wall of sound. Truly, it's the next best thing to a live rocket launch. Visitors may also have lunch with an astronaut and tour the Space Center, seeing its launch and assembly structures.
