This easy hike over the Slickrock Foot Trail can offer up some beautiful panoramas not seen from the paved park road. Here in Canyonlands National Park, Utah, most able bodied visitors can take advantage of this trail to see Six Shooter Peaks, Ekker and Cathedral Buttes and the La Sal Mountains, pictured here. After a short hike the trail begins to parallel the edge of Little Spring and Big Spring Canyons. On weekdays one may be able to enjoy this hike in solitude. Canyonlands, Needles District also offers some other interesting one to two hour hikes, such as Cave Spring and Pothole Paint trails.
