Jupiter Inlet

Jupiter Inlet

A birds-eye-view overlooks the Atlantic seacoast town of Jupiter. The break in the dunes, Jupiter Inlet, allows boat traffic easy access to clear tropical waters. Deep blue seas of the Gulf Stream await just off the coast. This northward, powerful stream, averaging three to six knots, carries warm tropical water and varies from 20 to 60 miles in width. Along the edges of the warm water stream, where the waters mix, is the hot spot for fishing action.
This tropical view was captured from on top of Jupiter's lighthouse which overlooks the Intracoastal waterfront. The area is surrounded by clear water and is a haven for water and beach lovers. Jupiter is tops for beach fun, water skiing, deep-sea fishing, sailing and inland canoeing through an enchanting cypress forest.
