The Manti-La Sal National Forest offers a million and a half acres of breathtaking mountain views. Old timber and mining roads that weave through this land spark a sense of exploration. This area is part of the Wasatch Plateau with elevations ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 feet. Mount Peale is the highest point, located northeast of La Sal Junction, Utah.
