Kapalua Bay, located on the northwest shore of Maui, has been voted America's number one beach from along list of 650 beaches. This island paradise, once called Fleming Beach, is protected by lava outcropping at both ends. Now the secluded beach is part of the Kapalua Resort. The 23,000 acres resort offers premier accommodations, golf courses and golden sand beaches, all lying below a natural backdrop of majestic, misty mountains.
