New Hampshire's scenic Route 302 only gets better when fall's colors arrive. The beautiful Silver Cascade is one gem that can be found roadside in Crawford Notch. This innocent looking ribbon has managed to slice through the tough looking granite, making its own notch that funnels icy waters under the roadway.
     Water and mountainside slopes have created over a hundred waterfalls throughout the White Mountains. White Mountain Attractions has identified 23 must see waterfalls and offers directions and trail information with their guide. Some trails offer multiple picturesque waterfalls along the way.
