The Silver State
Nevada, the Silver State, entered into the Union during the Civil War, becoming the basis for the state's motto Battle Born. Those exploring the Siver State for the first time may be surprised to find mountains in every directions, and maybe even more surprised to find it's the most mountainous state of the Lower 48.
One of the best ways to experienced Nevadaa is by way of its 10 scenic byways which take in the largest state park (Valley of Fire), and one of America's deepest lakes (Lake Tahoe). Other points of interest include the dazzle of Las Vegas, the Great Basin, many famous ghost towns, Death Valley and the historic Pony Express Trail.
