Yosemite Falls

Yosemite Falls

Cool alpine water rushes down the tallest waterfall in North America. Yosemite Falls is a three tier fall combination that drops 2,425 feet. Expect to get wet after an easy walk to the lower fall viewpoint. In early autumn the snowmelt water is gone and the falls are reduced to a trickle. The impressive full water flow, shown here, comes in the months of May and June. The sights at Yosemite National Park , a natural wonderland, are endless. The granite monoliths and beautiful waterfalls have wowed visitors for more than 150 years.
